wait yall on the general application portal it says this: “online financial aid document tracking will be available through mid-March.”
So honestly I wouldn’t read too much into not being able to see the documents on the financial aid portal. It seems like it doesn’t mean anything!
quick question for all: if you sent in your mid-year transcript report, did it show up on the submitted documents on the applicant portal?
@maddieportnoy18 nope! (hehe, hi again)
@28cats ok thanks (and hi )
@maddieportnoy18 For my S: school sent mid-year transcript, common app shows :“Mid Year Report Downloaded”
However Application portal doesn’t show that info.
Btw guys, most schools close their applicant portals a few days before decisions kind of as a sign that it is now too late to send anything in. This is all completely planned and everyone should have their portal cleared by the end of the week. MIT closed the portal a week in advance and it wasn’t a sign of rejection. Deep breaths. It’s all good! Good luck and good vibes!
I got a likely letter from columbia too
is anyone else who’s gotten one set on going? a little worried about how competitive and cutthroat everyone says it is (I know all ivies are, but from what I’ve read even more so for columbia… community is kinda important to me so any friends out there?)
congrats!
When can we expect the admission decision from Columbia?
@khushib next Wednesday at 7PM EST

@burnaokb did you get it today?
@burnaokb Congrats! my S also applied to Columbia and waiting for the decision. We are also from Ghana and in Ghana
I just received an email for Columbia advising me about decisions date? Did everyone get it as well?
yep
y did they have to title it “your columbia application” what a bait
@ricecooker420 I had the same reaction. I thought i got rejected when i read “Thank you for your first-year application to Columbia University.”
@ricecooker420 When I saw the subject title on my phone screen I dropped my phone in surprise! Smh nearly broke my phone over the notification of a date we already know haha
Can I ask what the likely letter said?
