Columbia material tracking is gone
Anyone else get rejected from Barnard?
I got a likely letter on Feb 19th! And Davis Scholar notification on March 1st!!! So excited!
My sister is currently in Columbia and is performing exceptionally well there. Will this give me an advantage?
@rama2022 Just like it doesn’t have much of an impact if your parent is a legacy; no, you don’t have an advantage.
Which is a better major: Computer Science at L&S or Computer Science/ Engineering in college of Engineering (Fu).
I need advice to take decision.
Did anyone else receive an email today about Columbia Financial Aid information? It is odd because the information is clearly outdated (it says the deadline to submit financial aid materials is February 15). I wonder what this is all about.
@jdawg24 was it titled “Columbia Financial Aid Information for Applicants?” Bc if it is I got it, but back on 2/9 xD. That’s weird that you got it now, maybe it’s good news
@ricecooker420 That’s the email! This is the first time I received this email, though (I did not get it in February).
Hi!
I just saw that my Materials List on my Financial Aid portal is no more. Is this the same for everyone?
@jdawg24 That’s weird lol, don’t know why it would be sent to you now??
@afterthought yup
Columbia has rarely contacted me throughout this whole process. That really scares me…
Did you all get the Explore your Options email around March 22? (for summer term, gap year etc.)
@LondonVall Just remember that you got into Harvard, dude! Whatever happens, Harvard is an excellent choice that I’m sure you’ll be happy with (considering you chose to apply there early) so please, take a breather.
@overlake00 I’ve been getting those emails all year!! :O)
@afterthought It’s the same for me!
3 more days left guys hang in there! Idt I could check even after it comes lol idt im ready to get rejected from my dream school :’)
Not counting on getting in at all because of my low test score of 1410, but I really went with a ballsy approach for Columbia. Very unique common app essay and my supplement was written about how I took a buzzfeed quiz that paired me with Columbia. Either way, I know I’m probably one of the most unique applications they’ll look at.
@Bmcdonald2 I had 1390 in SAT. Math-790 English-600. And guess what? I got a likely letter weeks ago. I guess SAT score is not an ultimate decider
@burnaokb
congratulations!!! what do you think was different about your application?
