Columbia 3-2 Engineering

I am a sophomore at CMC looking to do go on to do Industrial Engineering at Columbia after my junior year.

On the Columbia website it says...

If you begin at affiliate school before 2011, the GPA requirement is:

"An overall and pre-
engineering GPA of 3.0 or
higher as calculated by
Columbia. "

If you begin at affiliate school before 2011, the GPA requirement is:

"An overall and pre-
engineering GPA of 3.3 or
higher as calculated by
Columbia. Additionally, the
minimum grade for each pre-
engineering science or math
course must be a B or greater
on the first attempt. "

Since I began at my affiliate school at 2010, I would fall into the first category. However, in my case, my GPA is well above the 3.0 minimum requirement, but I received a C on a required math class (Linear Algebra). I've gotten A's and B's on all my other econ/science/ math classes.

Am I still OK? Do I need to get a grade above a B in it on a second attempt? I've heard that you need to get a B or above on all the pre-engineering courses, but it seems like this rule may only apply if you fall into the 2nd category (if you begin at affiliate after 2011)

I got a bunch of C’s and I was fine, mostly in courses from my freshmen year. They were in things like physics 1, chem 2, and calc 1 and 2. My overall gpa was well above 3.0. I met this one kid who said he was accepted with a gpa of 3.02. So, honestly I wouldn’t worry about it.
