Columbia acceptees post your SAT score here.

sat1: 1500
sat2: 760w, 740lit, 770bio(m)

yeaa what is RSI

accepted last year, currently attending.

SAT I: 1570
SAT II: 800, 800, 780

Sat I: 1540
Satii: 800,780,780

rsi is research science institute, its this EXTREMELY selective summer research program at MIT (i think), and they take only 75 or so kids

yeah, MIT, and it gives you nearly guaranteed admissions into at least one highly selective school provided your other statistics are ok (which they should be if you get into the program in the first place)

sat1 : 1420
sat2 : 690/690/750

CC, int.

1530
800wh 790wri 740lit

gives some hope to ints, eh? with these mediocre scores and all

1530/800/790/740 is quite mediocre. How did you possibly get accepted (as an international, no less)?

seriously!
i'm an int and was putting some hope behind my old SAT 1400. but if "1530/800wh 790wri 740lit" is mediocre, you've taken all hope away from me. :(

Actually, my post was sarcastically commenting on how ridiculously NOT mediocre those scores are. Even if you are international without phenomenal stats, you shouldn't lose hope. I thought you were being sarcastic at first, too, but your sad-face emoticon said it all. Good luck with the application process. And if you really are just kidding, boy do I feel stupid.

2 friends going
1st
1540, 800, 800, 760

2nd
1480, 800, 750, 750

^^ haha. u have the right to feel a little stupid. after the posts above about people getting 1370, 1420 and all, I would know better than to think those near perfect scores were mediocre! i'm hoping for much better scores on the new SAT though. :D

perhaps not mediocre on an absolute scale or even relative to the general CC applicant pool, but are you familiar with the international applicant pool? i was *****scared by the upwardly mobile olympic medallist RSIs with 1600 800x3s and perfect grades and pretty faces.

SAT - 1530 (Early in High School Career, if Columbia notices...?)
Math IIC - 800
Writing - 800
Chemistry - 780
