I understand the “umbrella” concept, but my cousin’s friend’s passions are not fully emphasized through in school EC’s. Here’s what i mean:
In school EC:
Spanish Honor Society
Environmental Team(public relations leader)
Math Team(member of highest team to represent school at tournament)
Science Team
Tutoring(contactor for other tutors)
Outside school EC:
Research w/ doctor on treatments for individuals with mental retardation
Independent research on auyrvedic treatments for individuals with forms of mental retardation
Co-founded a small(not major at all) reading and writing workshop for mentally disabled children.
Tutoring children
Community service at church

Would his EC’s look impressive, I mean he comes from an o.k. school/community and is first generation and is from a low income family?
