Hey guys, I have a question about the Columbia Application. Do people usually self report their AP test scores via college board to them? They don't have a space in the application itself, so I'm not sure if, since their application obviously was crafted specifically to their needs, they don't even want to look at the AP test scores. My AP scores are pretty good (7 tests all 5's), so I thought it would be a boost to my application, but I don't want to send it if they don't want to see it.

So do people usually send AP tests/would you recommend it?

I honestly don’t know, I didn’t send them maybe I should have (deferred) but you can always send them and if they don’t want them they just wont look at them but it cant hurt, especially since you did well.
I say send them.

Ohh ok thanks, I think I’ll send it in then. Uhh another question, does anyone know how exactly you report the AP Scores? Because it doesn’t seem as straightforward as SAT Scores. If I lost my AP number, is it still possible for me to report them? Thanks

My son included his then-available AP scores in a section of the application for “Further Information,” or something similar. I don’t believe he formally reported AP scores through College Board until the summer after he graduated, when all of the scores were available.
