I applied to Columbia for transfer admission. I submitted my app before the deadline, albeit just a few hours before it was due. I recieved email confirmation that both part I and part II were recieved. However, I still do not have an applicant ID that is needed to track the application. I called last week and again today and both times the admissions staff guy was really puzzled because he couldn't find it. Is anyone else having similar problems? I was told to call back again next week, but this is really worrying. It's already been a week and I hate not being able to do anything until next week.</p>

<p>don't worry. Your application has been received. When I applied for freshmen, things were a little behind, but don't worry, you're in good hands.</p>

<p>Yeah I got the confirmation e-mail, but that's it.</p>
<p>For the record, I have recieved an ID #. However, I just think it is because I applied early, back in Jan.</p>

<p>To be honest with you, I am not sure of the exact date. However, I do know that it was given a long time ago because for some time now I have been checking their online application status feature to see if all my application components arrived on time.</p>

<p>i never received one either, but instead, i called and they gave it to me. For old applicants, I think it is the same ID. My freshman app was still there.</p>
<p>Well, I know they said in an e-mail that we should allow up to 30 days for the tracking PIN, which would be sent in another e-mail. I still haven't gotten mine yet, and it's been about 10 days.</p>
<p>I called them today and they gave me my ID number!!!YEAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!However, it says that a lot of documents are missing. Man, I spent like a gazillion of dollars for shipping them by FedEx!!!</p>

<p>i thought it was a little weird but when I checked it on March 15th it said that it was submitted... </p>
<p>now I'm trying to log in with my pin number that they sent when i first registered to apply and its not working...</p>
