I am planning to apply ED. I am white, male and from Maine. I'm not a legacy. And sadly, I'm not quite fast enough to be recruited for running. I will be undeclared, but I will send in the music supplement.

Really good SAT scores and AP scores, try to get ur UW gpa to at least a 3.8. Lots of leadership and dedication to music are both good. Decent shot! I just suggest you do declare a major anyway to look like you’re interested in something (which I’m sure you are and you can switch out later, most people change majors at some point)

Thanks! Anyone else?

Solid grades/scores. Plus above average in running/violin (even if can’t be recruited). You stand a pretty good chance of getting in, relative to the average applicant, especially ED. Good luck!

Your stats and everything look great. And yes, take subject tests!! Aim for 700+ and you should be all set.

Looks good, you’ll get in!
