Columbia Class of 2020 ED Applicant Thread

@RerunGirl Yes

@crystallemon I’m just curious, where do you go to school?

@idealni1 I would go ahead and self-report all of your highest scores up to this point!
Quick question. Did you have your Sept. ACT scores sent to Columbia already? If not, I’d go ahead and self-report.

I go to a private school in Tenneessee! @TrazCapDEV

@idealni1 You are welcome! :slight_smile: I think you can send your Sept. ACT to Columbia (if it is not super bad) and if you get a higher score on the Oct ACT just send them the Oct ACT as well since they only look at the highest one

well, there was the main reason. for most of us not carry on this factor, please work very hard on your GPA. It is the only way out.

you need a climbing work on GPA. I would say as high as you can , try your best. It is the beginning of semester, turn thing around is not impossible. High AP grades could change the way committee evaluate on applicants.

all scores need to be official , including school reports and rec? no self-report? pls check.

@vnervous You have a really, really good chance of getting into Columbia ED. Seriously, your app looks very good. :stuck_out_tongue:

@vnervous Top-notch test scores, fabulous school records, extraordinary ECs, and a URM? Sorry, I really can’t see why you won’t get in.

@vnervous I think you can be very optimistic about getting in, and ED significantly increase your chances at Columbia, so if that’s the top school you want, go for it.

One more week until apps are due! Then the waiting game begins…

@vnervous Your app looks excellent!

Anybody submit their apps already!? Mine is done but I’m way too anxious to click submit!

It is not talking about chance. It is a must go if you apply ED and accept. I believed you should aware of this. You must 100% sure it is the place you are wishing to go. Of course, I have no doubt you will be accepted.

Just submitted my app, I’m a nervous wreck, goodluck to you all

can someone please explain to me how do i send it to them. Do i use my email and along with the image say my name and im doing early decision? “If you are an Early Decision applicant and your ACT scores from the September or October testing date have been delayed, we will accept a screenshot of your results. Please forward your score results to ugrad-confirm@columbia.edu. Official scores are required once they become available.”

@idealni1 If that’s what the website or emails say, then yeah that sounds about right!

@Cypher187 Good Luck to you as well!
