Columbia is my reach, so I’m not expecting much but we’ll see!
I’m a deferred ED hoping for better luck in RD. Are any deferred kids submitting extra letters of rec?
@kevina90 yeah, I’m probably going to get my track coach to submit one. I also plan on submitting a follow up letter.
Anyone here from the UK? I love Columbia but am hesitant to apply RD because they’re not so generous with aid…
@LucasKovacs do you do A level and IGCSE? And really? It’s need blind to US citizens I believe.
@RerunGirl I did iGCSEs (8A*s and 2As) but not A Level, I got 40 in IB Diploma. And yes, I believe you’re right, but for international they’re need-aware. When I went to visit the campus some faculty member said they’re kind of anal haha. But I’m not sure if that’s a sufficient reason not to apply tbh, may just do it. It’s the supplement that puts me of slightly

Another deferred ED Penn applicant here applying to Columbia RD! This is definitely my one big reach (aside from Penn which is now an RD application—not even looking at HYPS). Probably not gonna get in but I’d regret it if I didn’t try! Good luck to everyone!!
