Columbia College Hollywood

I am an aspiring film maker. I graduated HS in June. I am looking to transfer from my CC in a semester to this film school I saw online "Columbia College Hollywood" I called and inquired more information about the school and they sent me a package prior to my research online. The school is small (500 students) & it's located in Tarzana California, 15-30 minutes away from Hollywood. At this school all you do is make films and build your portfolio, they also offer internships and job opportunities.
I am looking for reviews and if any one has heard of this school. They have working industry professionals like those at USC and NYU and I am very much aware that USC is the top of the list when it comes to Film Schools. (I was planning to attend USC for grad school)

If anyone can give me any insight on this school please don't hesitate to let me know. Thanks in advance!

This is a non-accredited, for-profit school.
Stay away.

At least it IS a non profit and under review for WASC accreditation.

I couldn’t find any data on it, just a couple of bad yelp reviews. I wouldn’t go to it just relying on their marketing materials. I can’t help but think you’d do better at CSU Long Beach, and the tuition more affordable. The COA is just about as high as some regionally accredited private schools. Look at some schools on the hollywood reporter list

Loyola Marymount isn’t terribly difficult to enter, but I don’t know if the film school is harder to get into.

Columbia College in Chicago and DePaul are less difficult than USC or UCLA.

@Myos1634 I believe they are accredited with the NASAD and in terms of education wise do you have any input of that?

Thank you! @BrownParent for taking the time out to reply to my thread. It is very much appreciated. I will indeed, look at those schools you listed.
