Columbia, Cornell and Penn transfer prospects?

Hey guys, I'm a sophomore at Wesleyan (CT) University, and I could use some help from maybe people who have transferred or are also transferring if I am in the ballpark and have reasonable shots at some of these Ivies as an undergrad transfer... thanks in advance.

Columbia (Columbia College)
Cornell (College of Arts and Sciences)
Penn (College of Arts and Sciences)

High school stuff:
4.65/5.00 GPA (barely in top 10%), took the most rigorous classes, etc. at a really tough high school in MA that annually sends 25-30 kids to the Ivies each year.

800cr, 710m, and 730wr for the SAT, 2240 overall
800 US History, 790 World History, and 760 Biology E for SAT IIs.

College stuff:
Freshman fall semester: 3.6/4 (two Bs, one A, one A+)
Freshman spring semester: 3.8/4 (two Bs, two As, one A+)
Sophomore fall semester: 4.0/4 (3 As, one A+)
Cumulative college gpa: 3.8/4

A note, I intend on majoring in History and Spanish/Latin American Studies, I've gotten all As or A+s in my Spanish or History classes and have good relationships with all my Span/Hist profs, the Bs are from dance class, physics, and biology.

ECs in college, well I play on the varsity football team at Wes (Div III NESCAC), and am planning on walking on if I am admitted to any of these schools. I am also a paid writing tutor for the English Department, I hold office hours and correct and revise other undergrad papers.

I'd say you have a fantastic shot.
However, do you have any other extracurriculars other than football and english tutoring, perhaps spanish club or something relevant towards your major? Again, fantastic shot, but the competition is fierce. Write an awesome essay.

Good Luck!

You have a great shot at those schools. Are you from Wellesley high school?

Thanks for your advice, I am going to talk to my Spanish professor (who will write my rec) in about an hour about why I feel I need to transfer, what those schools can offer me that Wes can't, etc. and I'm going to try to emphasize some of my ECs that have to do with Spanish in my essays. And yeah, bostonbene23, I am WHS class of 2006.

haha, im from medfield high. a good friend of mine graduated with you...
