If you were to major in some engineering, although I'm not sure which engineering yet, where would you choose to go???

Columbia (SEAS), Duke (Pratt), or Princeton ???

If you were to major in some engineering, although I'm not sure which engineering yet, where would you choose to go???

Columbia (SEAS), Duke (Pratt), or Princeton ???

for biomedical engineering, duke has one of the top programs in the country.

Duke for bio/med, then Princeton, 3rd Columbia.

If you want biomed engr, Duke is the obvious first choice

What about the other kinds of engr??? like electrical, chemical, or computer ~~ ??

Princeton is the best engineering school in general of the three, but they all will have their specialties.

Duke doesn't have a chemical engineering department...just thought you should know

Why would you go any of those places for Engineering? Gross.

Cornell has the best engineering program in the Ivy League. Tops are MIT, Stanford, Caltech....

DUKE!!! Pratt is the best

Go to Princeton if you can get in.

Is Princeton good for engineering?? I heard Upenn and Princeton are not for engineers.....???

Top General Engineering Schools:

MIT (Best in world)
Stanford
Cornell
Rice

you're forgetting a lot of schools, Caltech for one.

Cornell, Princeton, Penn are probably the best three Ivys for engineering.

There's a long gap from Princeton to Penn there, though.

How about bet Princeton and Duke???

I don't have the U.S. News engineering ranking but this one is very similar:

I certainly wouldn't want to base any of a decision on a random internet, black box ranking. Especially one that ranks Ohio St. in front of Yale and Northeastern in front of Brown.

If you have the U.S. News engineering ranking, post it here. I've seen the list but don't have it. This is a ranking for engineering. Brown and Yale's engineering programs are HORRIBLE. U.S. News ranks them the same way.

Overall I'd go PTon Duke Columbia, for BME Duke Pton Columbia

However Duke doesn't have chemE and is considered a top 10 school like Columbia whereas Pton is a top 3-5 school...so I'd just go with what the best is overall
