Columbia Early Decision for Fall 2022 Admission

A bunch of people on Reddit are saying the same thing. Wonder if there’s a correlation as the only reason they would delete our financial aid information if we were rejected.

Admissions decisions for Early
Decision applicants will be available
online on Tuesday, December 14,
2021, after 7:00 p.m. (Eastern Time).
In preparation for decision release,
functionality on this page has been
limited.

I feel this. There is nothing to do now except wait for the decision. Everyone remember that if you don’t get in, you will still end up somewhere AMAZING!!! We’re all talented and smart with a bright future ahead of us. Don’t forget it  I am hoping for the best for everyone.

I am crying guys I don’t know what to do, Columbia was my top choice and no other school even comes close! I was ready for a deferral but a rejection??? Several people at my school have gotten offers, including a couple recruited athletes who knew even before today (usually we have no recruited athletes), so I think they decided they can’t take any more. I thought my legacy connection would be enough to overcome the AZN factor, I guess not… my sister says it has gotten crazy more competitive since she went there 14 years ago!!!

im so sorry for you. you went through so much during highschool only for them to do these kinds of things and take legacies and athletes. I hope you end up somewhere where you will be able to blossom and rise to your full potential

Thanks :(( This stings particularly because I live only a few blocks from campus and can literally see it from my window (I live with my sister) and have dreamed about following in her footsteps since I was in elementary school. Now wherever I go, I’ll have to face my failure when I come home :frowning:
