@mthompson I have a snow day too! 3 inches in Ohio and ice… I guess I have no excuse for not finishing my RD apps now…

@angelaxia exactly how I feel, I’ve already gotten started haha

The ice postponed my region auditions… again. Great. -____-

This has to be the most ironic thing ever. I got a thin envelope from Columbia Admissions today, but it turned out to be an advertisement. My hands are still shaking, goddammit.

@Stanfordmania, that sounds absolutely dreadful! I won’t lie, I probably would have burst into tears.

It’s like I have Parkinson’s right now…

49.5 more hours and we’ll all feel like that…

It’s 2:15 am in India, and I have an exam tomorrow. Too nervous to sleep. To make matters worse, the result comes out on Friday the 13th at 3:30 am, just before my Economics final exam. God help me.

I’m dying over…I wanna cry…the wait is killing me

TWO DAYS TO GO WOOP WOOP. Anyone else fluctuating between extreme optimism / bottom-of-the-pit negativity? Like, one moment I’ll get excited and tell myself, “Hey, there’s a chance they thought your essays were killer and let you in!” and the next moment I’ll say, “Nah, there’s no way they picked you over those other, infinitely more amazing applicants…better work on RD apps…and buy five gallons of ice cream to console yourself with after rejection”.

I think college apps are messing with my mental health.

Well said, WhyAmIOnThisSite.
That is exactly how i’ve been feeling.

especially the ice cream

Yeah, pretty much, except instead of ice cream i’ve been eating nutella~
I haven’t done any RD supplements yet; I keep telling myself I should, and then not doing them…ldskljdslkjadlkfjakdsjf

day after tomorrow, at this time… is this actually happening

@icefairy, yes for procrastination! I haven’t done any either! In the middle of November, I made a goal to finish half my supps before decisions come out… looks like that didn’t happen. We’re in for a busy couple weeks if we don’t get in.

@satman111 , @icefairy

to motivate myself I made a spreadsheet with all my supplements and I made them red if I haven’t started, yellow if I’m in the process, and green if I’m done. Right now my spreadsheet looks like a red column with a little green hat that is the columbia one.

I’m just banking on the fact that the other colleges will ask similar questions to Columbia so I can recycle.

@moonmaster1228, a lot of colleges do! I love questions where I can make minor edits to my Columbia supps, it makes me feel like I’m accomplishing something, anything.

@moomaster1228 that sounded like a really good idea! lol at the image ^.^
i was hoping that other colleges would ask similar questions, but a lot of them ask why you would want to go to that particular college, and all i can think is that i’d rather go to columbia…

@satman1111 ikr? it’ll just be all nighter after all nighter+coffee rearranging 26 letters on a computer screen

I have a test tomorrow and can’t concentrate on anything but Columbia spiritwear/mugs/cute products…

THIS IS SO BAD GUYS HELP.

I started my RD supplemental essays and actually have a few I’m quite proud of, but I’d still rather go to Columbia. XD Am I the only one who enjoys writing the essays? Some of the prompts are so interesting :)
