16 Days to go. My app is on point, I think, and my interview went really well, but my ACT scores are gonna kill me. Let’s see what happens.
I’ve prepared myself for rejection, and have applied at a lot more realistic places as well.

I love how every other school has a super long ED conversation, and we have 20 posts… haha

16 days 2 hours 35 minutes!

@pkteen Haha, don’t worry about it, my Asian-ness is probably gonna kill me. That and the fact that I caught some mistakes on my app AFTER I submitted it. And the corniness of my “Why Columbia” essay…Ugh, I don’t even want to think about it anymore >.>

@satman1111 I noticed that too! Yale is up to 20+ pages last I checked! O_O Wonder why the Columbia ED’ers seem so unenthusiastic this year…anyway, let’s keep the convo alive Woohoo, only a little over two weeks!!

did anyone else just get an interview email?

I already had an interview a couple weeks ago.

What time of day do we receive the decision?

No interview yet here (probably because no Columbia alumni live in southern Ohio, haha).

All the ED applicants are probably locked inside their panic rooms out of the anxiety these admission decisions are giving them/us; ergo the tiny amount of posts on this thread. Also, adding ‘Class of 2018’ to the title of the thread might help too.

Good luck to everyone! I can’t believe Dec. 12th is so close!!!

Panicking!!! 15 days to go guys!

True, true…I don’t see any point in getting all would up about the decision though. What happens, will happen. Meanwhile, I’ve been enjoying myself by watching Catching Fire interviews on Youtube and thanking God that it’s Thanksgiving break Are you guys all on break too? :D

Wow! this thread is awfully short…

You have no school today… Lucky! I have a half day, and then swimming practice…

Haha yeah! It was a great day. I got up at 11 (lol), tutored a kid for two hours, and then wasted my life away on the Internet for the rest of the day. Hey, a half day is better than nothing Last year we only got Thursday and Friday off for Thanksgiving. Oh yeah, my friends are all moaning about the start of swim season. Don’t you guys have 5 am practices or something? Insane…

How do you know decisions are released Dec 12? just asking because i’m worried i might have missed a email or something…

i applied on 11/08 and didnt get offered an interview… maybe i shud have turned it in earlier. oh well

@collegebound1630 Check out this article on the Spectator:
[Highest number of Early Decision applications in Columbia history for the Class of 2018 | Spectrum](http://spectrum.columbiaspectator.com/spectrum/class-of-2018-receives-historically-highest-number-of-early-decision-applications)

Catching Fire is a pretty darn nice movie.

2 weeks to go)
I hope you guys are coping better with waiting than I do.
Applied ED late Oct, had my interview in mid Nov. The interviewer wrote me a benevolent mail, and wished for me to be happy wherever I end up. Hmm… Hint?

It’s like waiting for SAT/ACT scores, just like 10 times worse…

had my interview last weekend and it was a senior at Columbia; she didn’t write me a feedback after though.

first post to CC!

so this is embarrassing, but apparently my CSS portion of my application is incomplete. naturally i’m going to send it in ASAp, but will this hurt my changes of getting in? what else is required for financial aid app?

So it seems as if these next 13 days of waiting are just going to be so stretched out and scary, but in reality two weeks is such a short amount of time!

Anyone else just done caring, at least for the next week or so until we’re actually super close?

I’m gonna try not to think about it until it’s like 4 PM on the 12th. Then I’ll start freaking out.
