applied to Columbia ED undecided, chances anyone?

Columbia will be a reach for most everyone, but if you can secure glowing recommendations and show yourself through your essays, you’ll drastically improve your chances.

I wish you the best of luck - Early Decision is a big commitment. Do you have any hooks (Legacy, First Gen, Sports, etc.)? Try retaking the SAT WH exam - they curve it heavily, so you should be able to get a 700 if you study a bit

bump

your SAT 2 scores are on the low side. Like you probably already know ivies are reaches fro everyone.

Again, ivies provide everyone with slim chances. Your presentation and subjective stuff is what really sets you apart, considering you’re in the mix with your test scores and stuff. I hope you picked your best teachers for your recs and that you explained your EC’s more flatteringly than what you have written up here haha. Good luck though!

Chance me back please!

Your test scores aren’t exceptional, but I think your ECs are really good. Good Luck.
