Columbia ED chances?

<p>Hi, I'm an Asian guy applying to Columbia. I'm going to be a senior. What are my chances for early decision?</p>

Major Awards - AP Scholar with Honor, National Merit Qualifier (havent heard yet, but my score is 224), Maryland distinguished scholar</p>

<p>Extracurriculars - NIH internship, Operation Fly member (student led company), volunteered at yale in a lab, tennis
work exp - none
Volunteer/Community Service - Hospital Volunteer for a summer, 2006 volunteer for democrat state elections

<p>good stats. average EC’s. a good shot. especially if you write a killer essay.</p>

<p>I say average chances RD, better ED. Since you’re stronger in the maths and sciences, your chances are probably better if you apply to SEAS or if you plan to major in a sciency in CC.</p>

<p>i think you can do it. just write some amazingly clever essays & you’re in. but really, you should apply to Yale & not Columbia :]</p>
