US history 740
Math ii 760

Signed up for SAT on october: hoping to score over 2200.

Took Calc2 over the summer at local university (got an A), and currently taking Calc3.

!!!!!Heres the problem tho:
I came from Korea last summer, not as an immigrant but so that I can attend American college while living with my brother who is going to a state university. I judged I would have a good shot, since I have lived in states for two years before so I spoke decent english(not fluent: I did struggle with language prob!!) and my American citizen status alleviates the tuition$$ prob.
My parents are overseas in Seoul.

Im thinking this is def a catch, since I came to the states during as a junior and overcame new environment/language prob/living virtually by myself without attending boarding school.

But my Korean high school years' GPA(was not an American school), which count for 9~10th grade revolve around 3.3~3.5ish. Im not too concerned about it, since I did decently at my new school, but if you guys think otherwise, let me know

Junior year (My new school is a mediocre public high school)

weighted 4.3/4.4
English regular->AP (Switched to AP during 2nd semester which I also hope is a catch -.-) (both As)
Calc AB (A, -A)
AP US history (A, -A)
Physics/Chemistry Honors (A,A) (-A,-A)
Psychology/Sociology (A, A) (One semester course each)
Painting (A, A)
Programming-> switched to Adv Choir (-A, A)

Senior Year

AP English
AP Physics
Adv Mathematics: Finite
Gov/Econ honors (No AP courses offered)
Painting
Adv Choir
Calc3 at local univ

EC: Well I couldnt really aim for club captain or anything... hoping adcoms would understand

-Doing lots of stuff for Korean church I go to, volunteering, summer bible school teacher, tenor singer, making and printing church brochure stuffs. Consistently spending at least over 10 hours a week excluding the service itself!!
-Tenor Section leader at my adv choir class
-Korean teacher at Korean Conversation Club in local univ.
-Cross Country JV (Senior year)
No volunteer hours... well Im hoping church work fills that up... Besides I thought studying for school/SAT was better than aimlessly go volunteer in the town library, which does not seem like saving the world, just because you need more hours...
It took double the time for me to study what others do when I first came here you see...

Not really hoping for an outstanding recs because I didnt get to have the time to form personal relationships with them, but I will get an extra one from the pastor at the church, who just adores me.

For essay I will write about how I came to the states and what living with my brother(who is never around) was like, without sounding too cheesy.

Well any chances for Columbia College ED?
If I get rejected or deferred I was thinking
Chicago/Northwestern/Amherst/Notre Dame/UPenn.

I would really really really really appreciate it if you can give me your honest advices! Thanks!!!
