I am a native american male, 29 ACT (blows), a 3.75uw and a 4.5w gpa. my ec's are state student council president (over 2500 kids), the head of two summer leadership workshops, stuco national delegate two years, state stuco exec board, state president's board national stuco, stuco secretary, stuco pres, nationally ranked tennis player, tennis captain, #1 singles tennis, all region tennis, all conference tennis.

I will basically spend my whole summer doing stuco stuff, but i want to apply ed next year. i know the only things i have going for me are my race and my extracurriculars, particularly leadership

^Don't underplay your tennis achievements. I think you have a great chance. You might want to try the SAT to see if your skills are more aligned with the SAT format. Keep up the great work!

i would say you are a shoo-in. Being a Native American is an epic ++++++, but to top it all up, your leadership skills are excellent, and you seem to be a pretty good tennis player. Whats ur SAT score?

I'm no admissions officer, but I don't think not playing tennis in college will hurt you. My point was simply that your impressive achievements on the court would be impossible without a tremendous amount of dedication and ambition, both traits that admissions folks look for. Between that and your student council achievements, I would think your EC bases are covered.
