My parents got divorced when i was 8 years old, and ever since then I have had to change schools and states every 6 months. Throughout high school i've gone to 6 different schools (1 online.) During my entire sophomore year, i went through a long and terrible custody battle that eventually ruled in my favor, but not before ruining my relationship with my dad. By the beginning of junior year, my dad finally moved to where i was living from Arkansas (part of the agreement made in court.) I really dislike my dad and we got in an argument one day and he assaulted me. Anyways, this whole situation was really stressful and i will explain it in my essays.

Considering your circumstances and stellar test scores, I say you have a pretty good chance. Just make sure to explain the AP situation at your school and nail the essays.

How do you have a 4.0 when you got a 3.8 your freshman year… Lol that makes no sense.

Anyways, say you have a 4.0 somehow and got a 35 on your ACT and with your divorce situation I would say these schools are low reaches for you.

Columbia ed, mit ea, uchicago are all reaches due to their selectivity. But I see you are a good candidate.

You need some matches and safeties.

lol, AP Calc AB/BC, AP chemistry, AP CS, and AP biology “over the summer.”

Alright.

@Kawaiiii‌
Don’t comment unless you have something helpful or important to say

What do you do online?

@Decepters‌

Buy wholesale and sell retail for a couple items

nevermind i saw you do tutor work. btw, that would be crazy impossible for me to handle during the summer but you can go ahead.

Bump

Why do you want to study computer science?

@creativegcho‌
I program apple apps and want to do it in the future as well

bump

Bump

If I’m not mistaken you made this thread after Columbia ED results came out.

I’m taking a gap year

Excellent stats. Apply elsewhere as well but your story is interesting particularly since you have done so well. You completed all these APs self study over the summer? Remarkable
