<p>So I'm thinking of applying to Columbia through the Early Decision plan and I was wondering how the teacher rec. submissions work. I noticed that Columbia wasn't a part of Common App schools, and can I still use the common app teacher rec. forms to subsitute the Columbia's own teacher recs? And if my teachers are submitting the forms by online, how do I get those to send in Columbia's Online application?

<p>No, you will need to print out the teacher rec and have your teacher mail it in. Maybe it's changed in the past year though.</p>

<p>Columbia has its own forms on its online application that can be printed or submitted online seperatly from the common application.</p>
<p>Yes, I am aware of that. But I'm wondering if I can use the common app rec forms to substitute Columbia's own rec forms, since it'd be bothersome for my teachers to write two recs at two different times (for ED and RD).</p>
<p>Just have your teachers use your school's form for recommendations, if there is one available. That's what my teachers used and I got in ED, so there shouldn't be a problem.</p>
