I’m not very good at this or very knowledgable…
but you really seem like a great fit. Columbia is a reach for anyone, so I would call applying ED a Low Reach/Reach.

bump… also if you could also give me chances for Cornell ED and Northwestern ED that would be awesome

bumpity bump bump

Penn: high reach
Columbia: high reach
UChicago: mid reach
Cornell: low reach
JHU: low reach
Tufts: low reach
Northwestern: low reach
UC Berkeley: low reach
Tulane: high match
Michigan: mid match
UVA: mid match

Good luck! :)

I don’t really know much about these colleges except for UVA. Several kids from my school applied their with far less impressive stats than yours and got it. Granted they were in-state, but I think you shouldn’t have much of problem. You could also apply early as its non-binding there.

You’re kind of one dimensional. All of your ECs are school related. You have very solid academic stats, and solid essays should help you. But nothing stands out on your ECs except for 3rd place state champion. ED will make it easier. I would hope for solid letters of rec to have good chances. Good luck!

Bumping bump bump- and if you guys could please also give me a chance for Northwestern ED too that would be awesome!

Not overly familiar, but here’s my best estimates for what I sort of know.

Columbia ED-low reach/high match - solid chances here, methinks.
Cornell-high match
Northwestern-high match
UChicago-reach
Tulane-low match
Michigan-match
UC Berkeley-mid/high match

I think you could afford a few more reaches in your applications if you wanted to shoot higher.

Chance me back!

What do you plan to study?

Political science- I’m trying to get into the best school possible so I can get into a Top 10 Law School.

Cornell-- reach
JHU-- low reach
UChicago-- reach
Penn-high-- reach
Tulane-- match
UC Berkeley-- (maybe high) match

(there were a few I wasn’t sure of)

Seriously, good luck!
