Waitlist decisions finalized today! I didnât get in, but hope you all have a good time!
@Helianthium Aww, I didnât get in either. Congrats to everyone who did though! <3
Did everyone get this paragraph?
âPlease note that this notification has no influence on your admissions decision should you choose to apply to Columbia Engineering. Last year, a number of students with strengths like yours were admitted to Columbia Engineering, under both our Early Decision and Regular Decision plans, even after not being selected for participation in the Columbia Engineering Experience.â.
Iâm not sure if itâs true or they just sent it to literally everyone who got rejected
Females with great stats have a reasonable shot for Columbia Engineering.
@amandanee1 Iâm sure itâs true! Same thing for every fly-in. Not only could your application not represent you fully as a person, but they have institutional priorities to fulfill at fly-ins, such as making sure itâs geographically, racially, and culturally diverse. If Columbia is your top choice and you got waitlisted/rejected, you definitely still have a chance!
