Columbia Engineering Experience [CE2] 2014

This is after the fact but I attended and there were 98 students that attended I think. I’m assuming they admitted 100 and 2 didn’t quite make it for last minute reasons.

Hey guys, i’m an international student and i want to apply for this program, however, the application is not available yet and i want to know what are the requirements (do we need to send SAT scores, do we need to write an essay, HS transcript ? ) tell me everything lol. I didn’t take the SAT yet :-/ and i don’t want to be disqualified, i’ll take it for the first time in October.

@mana12 apps are out, you send sat scores write essays and transcripts. (3 essays). you also fill out your basic info and all that ofc. i think not having an sat will hurt, but if you have good enough essays and stuff it wouldn’t “disqualify” you

35 ACT, 3.85 GPA, 5 Chem, 5 Calc BC, 5 Physics C mechanics, 5 psychology, 5 Lang, 4 physics c e&m, 4 apush, 4 stats, 800 math 2.

Founder of few clubs, president of a club, work for senator, research at uchicago.

My family isn’t low income and don’t really fill URM category at all. My rejection letter said that my stats make me “highly qualified for the undergraduate engineering school.” Don’t stress if you didn’t get in. I did get the fee waiver.
