Columbia Engineering (SEAS)

Does anyone know the early decision and regular decision acceptance rates for specifically Columbia Engineering. Even Class of 2016 or 2017 statistics should be adequate, for if there is a significant difference in acceptance rate between the Columbia College and Columbia SEAS, it should be represented at a similar ratio even in past years.

This year, in fact, Columbia (as a whole) had a 19.72% ED acceptance rate. Does anyone know the breakdown into SEAS and the College? I assume they both should range from ~15% to ~30%.

Hey-- thanks for all the help and feedback! I’ll do my best to reciprocate :)

I couldn’t find the ED rates but I did find the RD rates.

According to the article above, Columbia’s policy is not to release CC’s and SEAS’ separate admissions rates. Thus I could only find the combined rates.

They did, however, release the separate RD acceptance rates for class of 2015:
9.9% for SEAS
6.4% for CC.

Combined rates for CC and SEAS:
6.9% class of 2015
7.4% class of 2016
6.89% class of 2017
6.94% class of 2018
