<p>I am interested in the biomedical engineering major @ Columbia. I would like to know how students think about Columbia's biomedical engineering and engineering in general.</p>
<p>1) How is the competition within the classroom? What is the usual GPA?
2) How possible is it to achieve a 3.7+ and be involved in sports such as Crew and Rowing?
3) How much work outside of class is usually needed to complete problem sets?
4) How much more work (in general) is it compared to a bio/chem major at Columbia college?</p>
