Black Male from I.B school in inter city Pittsburgh(gifted status)
GPA:3.8(NO b's in a core class since freshman year)
SAT: Math-760 CW:710 W:700
AP:5 in U.S. History
I.B.: Math-7(taken junior year, that's why I have the score)
Expected 6/7 on other I.B exams on HL English and History
SAT II: Math level 2:750 Physics:770
Sports: Varsity Tennis(as well as a USTA player)
EC's:
National Honors Society(founding member of the chapter)
Engineering club (founding member of the club)
Ace engineering
AACAS(District council to help other gifted black students)
H.O.B.Y. leadership alumni
Mock Trial
More than 125 hours in CAS hours.(more than 50 of that is community service)</p>

<p>Some additional information:
Academic
I took my IB exam in math early because I took calculus as a junior. Also i have already completed my extended essay and received full credit. Also all of my English and history IB’s were HL and i would have taken HL in math and science but my school doesn’t offer it.
my current subjects are:
IB 20th century History HL
Physics II IB
Calculus II(taken at the University of Pittsburgh)
Film II IB
World Literature II IB
T.O.K. II
Spanish 12 IB
Extra Curriculars:
and I am the current captain and #1 player of the tennis team(we are city champions)
I’ve traveled around the world
internship at an engineering firm(summer between junior and senior years)
Math League 9th and 10th grade</p>

<p>no i think he’ll do great. i definently think your a great candidate. Also your african american which will help you alot in admissions (not a racist its their affirmative action policy). but regardless, even for a white student you have a great application

<p>I am getting the diploma, my weigted GPA is around 4.6 and i am 8 out of 113 ranking wise</p>

<p>Oh and i also already have my IB MATH score which is seven(I am a year ahead in math and take calculus 2 at pitt</p>
