Hi, I am a High School junior in Florida. I have the grades and extracurricular to have a good change to get into my top two colleges, New York University and University of Chicago. I have the ultimate goal of going to Columbia Film School after getting a bachelor in Film/TV Production and English with a major in Theater.
The only problem is that my family is in bad shape financially and will probably only be able to send me to a local state college, like University of South Florida or University of Central Florida. With UCF being my favorite, as it has the majors and minor I want.
If I end up going to UCF, what are the chances I will get into Columbia Film School with really good grades and portfolio from a less regarded state college?
