Just wondering, how do they credit APs for first year undergraduates?? I did Bio, Chem, Stats, English Lit, Micro/Macro Econ, Calc BC and Enviro.

Also, i did honors linear algebra at UBC--can I get credits for anything with that??

In my son’s case, the college accepted none, not even all the fives. It just seemed to expect that any academically minded kid going to Columbia would/should score well on them and that APs were not college level work.

That said, it didn’t matter. He wanted to go there to absorb and learn as much as he could, not shorten his experience. He loves the place.

columbia college is my first choice and im applying early decision there this year, i was wondering if you did report your scores when you applied?

if by that you mean send them a score report, no. if you mean simply write your ap scores on your application, yes you should - unless they are not good and you don’t want them to see them.

columbia takes your word for it on the application. no need for a score report.
