What would it take to get to Columbia from a JC? Grades-wise? Is it possible since I'm already at a four year university, but considering transferring to a JC that has an agreement (I'm not sure what it is) with Columbia?

I would find out in detail what that agreement is.
Columbia has an 8% transfer admissions rate.

So aside from that agreement, does anyone know what it might take (grades-wise) to get accepted to columbia from a JC?

.b.u.m.p..

The common sense answer is a 4.0 on a 4.0 scale or very close to a perfect 4.0. Transferring from a four year school to a junior college is not likely to help your cause unless necessitated by an urgent family situation. The admissions folks at Columbia might just be sharper than you think.

I sure hope you didn't think I was trying to trick admissions at Columbia......I always just thought it's much easier to transfer from a JC to a 4 year university. It's not like I'm planning on going to a JC one semester before transferring and then listing that, I was planning on spending at least a year at a JC and then transferring at the start of my junior year.
