Hey! Right, it’s doing the same thing to me as well. Possibly it hasn’t been generated yet? Possibly on Monday? I’m going to give them a call and I’ll write back. Have you gotten a financial aid packet? I can’t seem to find that either
By the way, everyone- accepted
Those that got accepted. Did you receive a regular email to check the status of your application or was it a huge congratulations email?
I didn’t get an email at all. I just refreshed my application page and It said there was an update. When I click on it, it takes me to the acceptance letter
I didn’t get an email. I just refreshed my portal. Do you see a decision?
Hey when did you get denied?
How did you guys handle the waiting times lol? It’s been 12 days for me since I submitted my application and I’m getting more and more nervous as time goes on
I went shopping and I went to the gym haha. When did you apply?
September 23rd lol! At this point, it’s been 2 weeks; so, I’m assuming it’s 4 more weeks of agony .
When I got into Columbia GS over the summer, there was no email notification - only an update to my application. Be sure to check it on Wednesdays. That’s when the decisions come out. Good luck to you and everyone on here. Back to studying for me…
Greeting Austinrzzzz~ My portal just received the same situation as yours. And I have checked previous years’ threads, they say if admitted there will be an offcial transcript request in the portal? I want to know what the situation of yours? If it is convenient to say.
I’m going through financial aid now and just keep in mind, the funds are limited for students and you will likely need to pay a good amount out of pocket. Just be prepared if you are accepted. Look for aid or make sure you know how you will pay those loans back. About $57k each year for 4 years full time. As a financial advisor, it can be done as long as you plan well.
At least the aid increases if you can maintain a high GPA :).
Hey SUMoxi,
Congrats!! I read from the previous threads that waiting on official transcripts is a really good sign.
Aid from where?
The FinAid available. I asked the question during the Financial Aid workshop (or info session) and I was informed by the host that they do increase the FinAid available to students per year if they maintain a relatively high GPA. I believe you have to be on the Dean’s List or something; still, the FinAid available increases per year.
That’s great. I’m going to ask my advisor at CU. Thank you for sharing
Here’s more info on it. I’m reading that the GPA is a 2.7; although, I wouldn’t be too sure as it seems a bit low.
Ah ok. I’m talking with my finaid person and will keep you all posted
