My interview will be held on this tuesday 10am EST. I’m re-reading my essay and my recommendations to avoid any self-contradictory answers. Honestly, it is a bit nervous but chilled I am. Just reflecting all my steps and try to answer well at this night (for my timezone, it’s 11pm).
Thank you for all of your words. I really appreciate it. I wish all of us can make it out and I wish we could see each other at lion’s campus this coming Spring.
And I guess the decision would come out at Friday. Because my interview is on tuesday so for Wednesday, I think it’s quite a rushing schedule.
Honestly, my money is on Wednesday. I really don’t think it’s going to be Friday. I spoke to admissions today about something else but decisions came up; I was told that it would be Friday at the latest but it sounded like it was probably going to be before. That’s why I asked if any of you heard back
Hm honestly, hearing that your interview is Tuesday morning makes me think that the Wednesday timeline is likely… haha. But let’s see. It might be Friday. my moneys on 90% Wednesday 10% Friday
I also am leaning towards Wednesday now. But maybe some applicants will hear back on Wednesday and others on Friday? It is supposed to be on a rolling basis.
So long story short, the updates meant nothing. It was an error that has been resolved now. However I would say I got overall good vibes? But maybe that’s just wishful thinking. I’m in the same boat as all of you haha. I’m officially driving myself insane— like I know staring at the portal will do absolutely nothing but here I am still doing it LOL. God I just want to sleep till Wednesday. Working today and tomorrow is going to be a nightmare I cant think about anything else.
Wait sorry everyone, why do we think Wednesday after 5 PM will be the day? Thank you!

Guys Injust finished my interview and she told me that the result will be come out on Friday
If you check the decision info at gs admissions page, it states that the spring applicants will receive their result from October. And Friday is October 1.
Anyway, my interview was really great, I told her every single thing I wanted to tell them at my essay but wasn’t able to. I left no words behind. Feel so nice and good.
She asked my envision to live in New York, such as will you live in the dorm? Or some other plan? And we talked about core and academic plan.
I really love this school. Can’t wait. I can’t wait it. Only three days left. My gosh.
I was told it would be before October 1st haha, and that at the latest it will be Friday. Let’s see. It could be either Wednesday or Friday in my opinion but we never know haha
I think it’s Wednesday because most decisions from GS come out on Wednesday, with a few outliers.
And wow, your story is nearly identical to mine. If you scroll up you can read mine too. I also run a non profit organization and I’m 23, so not too far off from you. I think you have a solid chance of getting in!
Wow by the sounds of it, I think you probably got it. If I were you, I’d be happy right now! Obviously you never know, but I think it’s likely you got the spot
I’m getting excited for tomorrow!! I have a packed day so I think it will go by quickly for me but that doesn’t mean I’m not checking my portal and this thread like every spare moment haha. I really hope you all get in, you all sound like amazing candidates
Tomorrow will fly by for myself as well. I do hope it’s tomorrow though. I genuinely do believe it will be Wednesday for the vast majority of us. I asked around and I believe they sent out the decisions last year for Spring 2021 priority early action on a Wednesday as well.
Thank you for all of the kind words everyone! It’s great to have such a supportive group of people! I wanted to ask since we are all, “non-traditional students” if any of you are in a committed relationship/married and how you are approaching that conversation? I am engaged and have support from my partner, but I’m actually worried about leaving for so long. I’ve heard from other threads that GS isn’t that accepting of transfer credits, meaning transfer students were faced with a longer timeline than anticipated despite AA degree status.
