Columbia GS students- When did you get "THE DECISION" ???

<p>Hello, how are you?</p>

<p>I applied for Columbia General Studies for Fall 2010.
I am now waiting for the university's decision regarding my applications.
The deadline for US citizens was March 1st and the deadline for International students was April 1st. </p>

<p>I tried to find out around when I should expect the decision. I couldn't find an answer Neither in the Forum nor in Google.... That's why I am asking this question again.</p>

<p>Do you have any idea when should I get the decision if I got in??...
Another question is whether I will get the decision by mail to my house or by email?</p>

<p>If there are GS students here that already experienced this process I would be really happy to know how long did you wait until you received the decision. I do know that orientation begins in late August so I assume that the decision should be made soon?- (or maybe not).</p>

<p>I actually just called (as they finally received a missing piece to my application) and they said I would know within 7-10 business days…which makes me feel ‘unhopeful’…sounds like a mailing in my case - rather than a fedex.</p>
