Columbia HEOP

Last night, someone from Columbia called and said that I was being considered for HEOP, but I had to submit W2 and parent tax forms. I had legitimately given up on getting into Columbia because my grades aren't superb, they're alright - As and B, and 29 on ACT, 1860 on SAT. If she's said that I'm being considered for HEOP but need to sumbit my tax stuff, does that mean that my grades qualify and now she just needs my money stuff?? I plan on calling and finding out later because she won't answer her phone now, she's probably incredibly busy! But I'm so twitchy, I can't believe I'm even being considered! My family income of 6 people in the house is $39,000 and I can't afford college! Are they any students here that got into HEOP that can say anything about this?!?!

I'm also new to this site, so sorry if I uh...do/did something wrong :x

You should check the financial information on Columbia’s website. There are special considerations:

Columbia will eliminate loans for all students receiving financial aid, whatever their family income, and replace them with University grants.
In an effort to further assist low-income families, parents with calculated incomes below $60,000 and typical assets will no longer be expected to contribute any of their income or assets to tuition, room, board, and mandatory fees.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that this is ONLY for CC, NOT GS.
