<p>To track ones application online one has to enter a Columbia ID number. How does one receive that?

<p>Im pretty sure you receive it in the mail... if i'm not mistaken. I got mine a while ago but I applied for this spring term so I'm not too sure on the details. Hope this helps :)</p>

<p>i applied ed and they sent me an email stating that they would send the id by email</p>

<p>Yup I also got it in an e-mail. You should get it shortly after you submit your app.</p>

i did and i got it in the mail already</p>

<p>I applied ED and didn't get my number 30 days after i submitted so I called and got my number :)</p>

<p>What number did you call to your ID number? Did you just call the office of admissions?</p>
