<p>Do these hold a lot of bearing? I've had 2 interviews, one in New York and one with a local representative. Does this bode well?</p>

<p>I don't think it matters, but a basic summary of my stats are:</p>

<p>1450 SAT
693 II avg
94 GPA
Good EC's</p>

<p>it can't hurt... it seems like you don't have anything bad to hide, so it will probably be a non-factor... unless it went EXTREMELY well.</p>

<p>I haven't been interviewed yet either, so I asked another guy in my class who did get interviewed about it, and he gave me the email of the alum who emailed him. I emailed this lady and asked if I could get an interview, and this was her email back (just thought it might provide some useful information):</p>

<p>Hi (my name),</p>

<p>I have contacted another alum to see if he has time to interview you this week. I will be out of town this weekend. There were so many applicants this year that not all of them were able to get interviews. The assignments were random and had nothing to do with your candidacy. So, if he is unavailable please do not worry about the effect not interviewing has on your application. The admissions committee knows that about half of the students applying do not get interviews.</p>

<p>I’ll let you know what we can do this week. The interviews are due Tuesday, so we have until then. </p>

<p>I think alot of schools interview on a first-come first-serve basis as far as when they received applications. For the other Ivys I applied to, I all had interviews and submitted the application 2 weeks before the deadline. I then went on vacation and waited until I got back to sumbit the app..(day of), and haven't received an offer for an interview.</p>

<p>I applied to Brown on 12/31 and got an interview email with the next 3 days.... as for columbia though...... :-(</p>
