<p>Gender restriction on double-occupancy rooms is gonna be lifted, not for freshman year dorms though. Finally, straight couples get the same rights that gay couples get, about time Columbia :-p</p>

<p>I saw it on the local news yesterday. They want to do that to give students an idea of living after college and also since offcampus housing nearby is quite expensive (Morningside Heights isn’t cheap, right?). It will only be available for soph, junior, and seniors and I think it will only be in some dorms</p>
