<p>Columbia is the university I really want to go. When should I start the application? I am a 100% sure I want to go to CC.</p>
<p>When it comes out, start working on it, but don't send it in until you think you have perfected it. I remember I sent mine in last year in mid-October.</p>

College College: What makes the school appealing to you/why do you want to go here?
SEAS: Why do you want to become an engineer/what do you find interesting about engineering? </p>
<p>the essay is 250 words minimum (i believe) personal statement on anything you want, show who you are </p>
<p>there is a also a part where they want you to list: books read in school, leisure books, newspapers, plays/performances/museum exhibits
all over the past year</p>
<p>The "why do you want to be here?" question applies to both schools.</p>
