I just got an e-mail stating that I have missing teacher's recommandation and transcript. This is very strange because I remember checking over everything and sending them off in one package together. I don't have another copy of the teacher's recommandation. Is this the reason I haven't got an interview from Columbia yet? Have you had the same thing happen to you?

Call them on Monday to make sure tey still don't have the information. If they don't, get new materials from the school/teacher and send them off.

No, that's not the reason why you didn't get an interview.

but is that going to hurt my chances? Does that mean they haven't started looking at my application?

No, it won't hurt your chances. They haven't started looking at most or all of the applications.

Thanks a lot, I hope what you said are true. ^.^

Hey Salome,
Yeah the same thing happened to me too; they got the secondary schoo report but not the transcript (even though it was stapled to the SS report). Hmmmmmm. Anyways, I still got an interview (according to my interviewer, they send your name to the regional reps right after they get part one). Good luck.

Ah this sucks!

It says my SSR and transcript are both missing/not processed. The strange thing is that I still haven't been e-mailed that it's missing. I figured in my little head of mine that it'd eventually be processed, but I guess that was reaaaaally stupid of me -- it's almost March.

I'll call tomorrow. Damn, I'm on break right now so hopefully I can send it first thing next Monday or something.
