Columbia missing materials, what should I do?

Hi everyone,

I am applying for transfer at Columbia university and I am kind of confused. On their application tracking website, it says they did not received/processed my high school transcript (it is a foreign transcript with English translations so more complicated than the usual U.S. transcript) I sent it at the end of February though and got a delivery confirmation (it was sent through priority mail) It says on their website not to email them about missing materials and that they will contact us if anything is missing but I don't know what to do. They say that it can take 2-4 weeks after the March 15th deadline for documents to be processed but it now has been 4 weeks. So, do you think I should contact them about my missing transcript or should I assume it's fine if they don't email me and request it?

Thanks a lot in advance! :)

Contact them and get it settled ASAP. It is likely that it’s an oversight on their part and all is well. Good luck!

Many other people (including me) also have this problem where the Columbia system says that the application materials have not yet been processed/received. I wouldn’t worry about it for now, I guess. I think they would contact you if something was really wrong.

I actually called today and this is good I did because they had not received my transcript and I now have to fax it, so I think you should call them and check just to make sure they did receive it.
