I got transfer(sophomore) admission to Columbia and Penn(CAS). I am not sure which would be a better choice in terms of getting internship/job.
Columbia's location is certainly an advantage. At Penn, I could probably do a dual degree with CAS and Wharton.
Any advise/suggestions?

AM, the OP can’t do what you suggested. It’s not possible to externally transfer from his current school to Penn CAS and then do an internal transfer from CAS to Wharton. If OP wanted Wharton, he should have applied to W as a transfer, not CAS.

Well it says external transfers can’t then internally transfer. I would think that this would mean no dual degree because the two applicants are treated the same but I’m not sure.

If it were Wharton, I would take it in an instant. But since it’s not, Columbia is better. Columbia is ranked as a first rate Economics school. Penn is too, but since you didn’t get into Wharton…

At Penn CAS or Columbia’s Arts and Sciences, I doubt you’re better off at one or the other. They are both well recruited and it really depends what you do at either school.
