Hi, I was just wondering if Columbia University is a good university to do pre-med at. I live in New York City, and Columbia University has always been the college I envisioned myself of going to. (If I don't get in, I'll settle with NYU).

Couple of questions

Is it very difficult to maintain a 3.5 GPA at Columbia while majoring in Biology
How do students perform on the MCAT
How are the research opportunities at the school
Are professors good
And just pretty much any more information you guys have
