By what method are people receiving their decisions? I’ve received no communication of any type and my IDOC had to be updated to include my parents 2010 tax return but, I don’t think that impacts admission decisions, does it?

CC is such a long shot but, until I see it in writing, I’ll continue to hope.

I applied for the class of 2015 at Columbia and requested for my PIN number and password but I still haven’t received it yet. I checked my Spam file also and didn’t see anything from Columbia in there. Please help me with what I should do in order to see my decision!

General Comments/Congratulations/Venting/Commiserations, etc:
I was super surprised that I got admitted as were most of my friends and classmates. Don’t give up hope if your grades and test scores aren’t perfect. However, don’t inflate expectations and delude yourself. Even though I got accepted to Columbia and Stanford, I was rejected by 6 Ivies. Heck, I was deciding between Johns Hopkins and NYU only a week ago. I hope my post offers some optimism for other Asians who feel as though they’ve been slightly cheated by the college admissions process. Briefly explain why you applied to Columbia (This may very roughly show who really had an interest and if there is some correlation with acceptance):
