columbia science honors program exam

hello, i just had a question on the columbia science honors program exam. How difficult was it ? and what was the general format of the exam and what should i be studying. If someone could answer these questions i was be very grateful. Thank you

I applied to SHP my freshman year. I didn’t prepare for the exam at all, but I thought it was easy and got in. It mostly tests your general thinking skills in math and science, so it’s difficult to prepare for (no rote memorization tested). There are 3 sections: easy math, science, hard math. Hard math is AMC-level; easy math is like “x+2=4, what is x”, super easy. Science section tests a lot of areas of science. If you typically do well in math and science in school you should have nothing to worry about.
