Columbia/Sciences Po 2015 entry

@hlee77‌ I applied to Reims

@whitman33‌ they’ve probably received it already. i sent mine months ago and it took forever for them to show up on the tracking site.

@fourfourfour‌ Thanks for the reassurance! I’m so anxious to hear back about this program. It seems like an incredible opportunity.

When does Columbia start notifying us about interviews? I’m very nervous! Has anyone gotten an invitation yet?

@hlee77 The website says Mid-February through Mid-March, we should let each other know if any of us get an interview.

does anyone know the FAFSA code? do we just do columbia university?

@sienafrost,

My name is Christina, and I am the Communications Officer at GS. You should use the Columbia University FAFSA code, which is 002707. Refer to the Financial Aid page of the Dual BA Program website for more information: https://gs.columbia.edu/sciences-po/apply-for-financial-aid

I hope this is helpful.

Hello all!
I applied to the Reims campus and this program is definitely my top choice! Crossing my fingers for everyone waiting on interviews :slight_smile:

Judging by last year’s timeline we should be finding out within the next couple weeks concerning interviews.

Hi everyone! I also applied to the Reims campus. I’m glad it’s not just me that hasn’t gotten an interview so far. I ended up calling Columbia GS’ admissions office just to check, but they couldn’t give me a concrete answer. I hope everyone that wants an interview gets one! Btw, if you don’t live in the NY area and you want to travel to NYC instead of using skype or calling to interview, does anyone know if traveling there is an option instead?

Hi everyone,

My name is Laetitia and I am a student ambassador for the Dual BA program, as well as a Junior at Columbia and alum from the Reims campus.

To answer your question @SarasaClip, if selected, you may choose to do your interview in person if you live in the New York area. It is worth noting that where and how the interview is done does not have any bearing or significance on the admissions process.

As for everyone else, hang in there while the interview requests come out. Please let me know if I can be of any help during this period or if I can answer any further questions about Columbia and/or Sciences Po.

Best,

Laetitia

Hello Laetitia, thank you for offering to answer questions.

I was wondering if the Dual BA program wanted a Mid-Year Report. The website didn’t specify whether it wanted one or not. I assume the answer is no.

it looks like last year everyone was notified about their interviews on February 6th and 7th… is anyone else freaking out?

Oh wow… I don’t remember reading on College Confidential that anyone was notified yet. Also, applicants from previous years received their interview invitations from mid-February to late-February, so I wouldn’t freak out yet.

If it helps @sienafrost, I called the office on Friday, and they said my application was still “in review.” :blush: Hope that helps, and best of luck!

We only have to fill out FAFSA, and not CSS right?

I sent an email asking about interviews… They replied that all selected applicants will be notified this week as well as non selected applicants (9-13)
Good luck. Haven’t heard from them yet :confused:

I applied for Reims- have not heard a think from them… Freaking my mind out!!!

I haven’t heard anything either. I guess we will see at the end of this week!

Just curious, where are you guys all from?

Just got my interview request email!!!
So excited :smiley:
