Just wanted to start this. Anyone applying to the Columbia/Sciencspo. Dual BA Program this year?

My daughter would like to! What do you know about it?

I am going to apply to this. I did a lot of research on the program, but couldn’t find a stat on 2013-2014. Do you guys know about it?

Hi simplyorange,
I went to an information session a couple of months ago and they said the average G.P.A. was 3.7 and their average SAT scores was 2100.

I know that the school looks for people not only interested in Columbia but also Sciences Po. And the campus of choice.

I hope this helped!

albertmartinez,
Thank you for the update.
Did they say anything about the acceptance rate this year?

Btw, what campus are you applying for?

Absolutely! I’m so worried about getting in because of so little information regarding student profiles ad so forth. Any advice or tips woud be greatly appreciated!

Any info regarding if ACT is acceptable to send? my scores there as so much better than my SAT scores.

simplyorange,
I’m not sure if I’m correct but I think they accepted about 60 of the 300 applicants.

I’m applying to Le Havre! What about you?
Also what are your stats and extracurriculars?

I’ve talked to some of the current students and one of them told me that it’s good to be in mock trial, debate, or model UN. Pretty sure they value diversity ALOT.

well… my stat isn’t that great…
2100s for SAT and 3.8/4.0 for GPA. How about you?
I’m applying to Le Havre as well.
Do you know how big is the student body for Le Havre campus? How many students are there?

I’m also applying to the program, Le Havre too!

On your application portals, does it say that your SAT scores have been received? I sent mine back in October and they’re still listed as missing…

howaboutno,
You can simply just ignore that. I had the same problem on my application portal, so I checked it with admissions manager. She said SAT scores are already in my file so…
I guess the application portal is not up-to-date.

So, did you finish ur application yet?

Though I might join in as well.

I am also applying to the program, but I am applying to the Reims campus.

Hey who do you send standardized scores to for this?

Also, how do you move on to part 2? Do you need to pay?

So, we finished our application… and what now?
Are you guys ready for interviews in February?

Apparently you don’t hear about interviews until late February to early March. At least that’s what happened last year.

And getting an interview is like the first cut system. If you get one, youv’e moved on to the second round of application

From the previous history, I saw that all applicants who had interviews got admissions. so I guess if you get interview invitation, it means you got admission.

not necessarily - you can still be rejected with an interview. I think the interview is more of a final part of the application that has some (but not a tremendous amount) weight on your acceptance. hoping I can get into the reims program!

Does anyone know the interview period for Le Havre campus? Was it late Febuary last year?

Does anyone know when final decisions would come out?
