Columbia SEAS acceptance rate??

I have heard from various people that the acceptance rate for Columbia SEAS is around 20%. I have yet to find any information regarding the SEAS admissions rates, so does anyone have any knowledge of this? Thanks

Overall SEAS admissions rate is under 8%.

According to http://www.columbia.edu/cu/opir/abstract/opir_admissions_history_1.htm, it’s 7.4%.

Last year SEAS admit rate was around 8% and the College was around 5% for a combined admit rate of 6.8% for both schools.

@ricck1 The previous poster posted the exact numbers with a source.

The numbers are on their website, altho they are generally a year or two behind. They break down the applications and admit rates of the two schools. This year Columbia had a record breaking 36,500 applications.

They updated the numbers in December. It reflects the class of 2018 now.

Is there a site that tells the male:female ratio for SEAS undergraduates…or percentages of men or women?

If you look through this Columbia SEAS 2014 brochure, it says the female percentage of incoming first year students is 37% for engineering. This refers to the Class of 2018. But, this has been pretty consistent over the last 10 years or so.

Correction: the 37% female is for the previous class of either 2016 or 2017. The class of 2018 was 44% female.

I just read that for class of 2019, SEAS acceptance rate was 6.6%.
