So what do you guys think? What are my chances?

Columbia SEAS: reach

Do you have any experiences(research or patents) on applied sciences? You SAT is a bit low for Columbia, but the ACT is better.
Have you taken any subject tests? Try to write good essays, and you have a shot.

Chance back?http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1575443-chance-me-my-ed-ea-hyp-mit-please-will-chance-back-3.html

I do feel like its possibility because of how high your scores are! There is a good opportunity, I feel, that you have to get in. I always say to challenge yourself academically and do as much extracurric. like volunteering as you can!

Columbia is a reach but your stats make you a great applicant. Only your gpa seems to be a barrier. Try to improve your EC’s if you can and prepare great essays. Good luck!

Columbia is a reach but you are a great applicant, my friend.
I hope that you get in. you will!!

It is a reach. If you can get an incredible essay, it will be a low reach.

11 APs is very, very impressive. Scores aren’t great, but you seem like you are a pretty good essay.

Mid reach, so a good idea to ED there.

Does anyone know when results for ED Columbia results are submitted? Am i going to get an email or do I have to wait for a letter?

I think your ACTs will be better for Columbia.
Your ECs are good and overall pretty good
Now, it’s mainly on luck I have to say. I have a few friends who also ED Columbia and they said Columbia letters (midDecember) might be pushed back a little bit because of CA problems.
But overall, you have a chance! Columbia is a reach for almost everyone!
Chance me? (sorry I don’t know how to link, but teach me if you can!)

any more before results come out?

Tell us if you get in!!! I have applied ED as well!

Seems unlikely, but unlike the comment in #2, you certainly don’t need research or patents!
