<p>I was finishing up the Columbia app and its short respone question asks you about what most interests you about their school</p>
<p>Would it be too shallow to focus this response on their newspaper and how i'd like to be a part of it? It has a 600 character limit and there's not much you can do with that. I was going to touch on my career interests but it just came out like too "brochure-y"..I mean what more can you say about it?</p>
<p>So is it ok if I focus on just one community i want to be a part of there and how it interests me I'm not sure how much weight they give to this response anyways..</p>
